Painting with a Palette Knife
Cost: £60 for a course of six classes

A regular six week course exploring the basic
principles of painting on canvas using acrylic paint
and a palette knife. This is a wonderful opportunity
to work alongside an established artist in a relaxed
and informal atmosphere.

Silver Workshop

This popular workshop gives you the opportunity to
create a number of pieces of silver jewellery. The day
will take you through techniques from manipulating the

Enamelling on Copper Workshop

Learn the basic principles of enamelling on copper
from cleaning the copper to the decoration and firing.
At the end of the workshop you will have produced a number of wearable, unique pieces of jewellery and
gained knowledge on the basic principles and
equipment needed to enamel. Places limited to 6

The Nature of Landscape II

As part of Abbey Walk Gallery Exhibition the Nature
of Landscape II Seminar will be a stimulating day of presentation and discussion with opportunities for you
to put your questions to the participants of this Arts Council England supported project, whilst challenging
and developing your own ideas of Landscape.

The Head 1 - Drawing

Working in charcoal or chalks – an exciting tow day workshop, during which you will begin to familiarise yourself with drawing the human head. Working from
the portrait model to develop your skills to day tow culminating in a powerful study.

The Head 2 - Painting
Cost: £65

Linda will assist you to develop the practice of
working from your own studies, as well as the model
to create a lively oil painting. Enabling you to develop
skills in mixing colours as well as depicting the form and structure of the human head onto a prepared surface.
