and Excavations: Event
The mayor of Grimsby will open the event; have invited the Grimsby & Louth Ramblers association to attend and promote their walks; there will also be a reading by poet Harriet Tarlo, one of the commissioned artists collaborating on a body of written and drawn/painted work based on a coastal stretch of the Humber estuary between Cleethorpes and Tetney.

David Ainley: Workshop

David Ainley has had many solo shows including an acclaimed exhibition at Ikon Gallery, Birmingham. He has twice been shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize and was winner of the Derby City Open Exhibition (2004). Last year he had work selected for The Discerning Eye at The Mall Galleries, London. He has taught Fine Art practice and theory at Universities and Colleges throughout England, including the University of Nottingham.

Abbey Walk Gallery are pleased to be working in conjunction with the Settlement Restaurant situated in the beautiful market town , Caistor. Exhibiting in their Second floor Gallery is the work of artist Melvyn Petterson who’s work has been shown nationally and internationally he has been a technical advisor for 2 BBC art programmes and has exhibited at the Royal Academy on 23 occasions. He is a full member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers.
